Juzzie Jayce, a janitor at the universe's premier theme park for would-be adventurers, has spent the last ten years scrubbing toilets and sweeping up popcorn without recognition. Coming from a family of heroes, he's decidedly a zero. So when Adventura's head engineer asks for help applying a patch to fix mysterious glitches that threaten to derail the park’s 20th anniversary, he jumps at the opportunity to prove he's worth more than cleaning up other people's messes.

Lt. Jacob Jayce is everything his failure of a big brother isn't. Cocky, confident, and allergic to theme parks. The only reason he bought a ticket was to break the news of their father's death, which becomes the least of his worries when Adventura's hot secretary requires his services.

Kara would give anything to escape the spotlight. Her part-time princess gig was meant to be a backdoor into Adventura's prestigious engineering division—until the bots she helped program take the script a bit too literally and kidnap her for real.

Not only does the patch not work, it kills the anniversary—and a few people—launching Juzzie on a mission to save Kara, clear his name, and reset the park's malfunctioning system, or face cryo-prison for a crime he didn't commit. All while dodging Jake, who corporate has hired to take him down. But Juzzie can't let Jake catch him. Not when he has a chance to be a hero too.
