Constantinople, 1876.

Nikola Tesla sacrifices his brother Dane, and thousands of civilians to sway the Russo-Turkish War. Sixteen years later, he has built something impossible on a remote Vermont mountaintop to resurrect him:

A monstrous tree that fuses metal and flesh.

But in his desperate experiments, Nikola sends a message across the void of space, awakening a vast, cosmic entity and its ancient, earth-bound high priest.

As the eastern seaboard erupts into an eldritch war zone of Lovecraftian nightmares, Tesla must battle back to a weapon hidden on Long Island—powerful enough to kill a god.

Whether by fate or God’s providence, a beautiful sharpshooter, a priest scarred in body and soul, and an Irish miner driving a steam-powered exoskeleton are drawn into the fight.

But Tesla alone faces a dreadful choice: cling to the past, or sacrifice everything to save the world he helped condemn.
