Justice Is Not Blind

Judge Justice Demair has a secret. One that could destroy her career, change the lives of people who enter her courtroom, and give her the power to deliver a kind of justice no law has ever authorized.

Thomas Veil is a respected surgeon. He's also a serial killer. Behind his carefully cultivated reputation lies a man capable of unspeakable cruelty, and bringing him to trial may not be enough to stop him.

The evidence against Veil is compelling, but there are no fingerprints, no DNA, and no eyewitnesses linking him to the murders. Justice must give him the fair trial the law demands, even as she discovers that his interest in her extends far beyond the courtroom.

Justice has spent her life exercising extraordinary restraint over a power no one knows she possesses. But if the law cannot stop Veil, she may have to make a choice that threatens everything she has worked to protect, including her integrity, her career, and her life.

If Veil is acquitted, Justice's life is on the line.
