Heroism is Herculean.

So the government's plan is to put it on payroll.

Everything's tied to a budget, the costumes were chosen by a PR agent, and the team was the cheapest set of young superhumans available. Protecting the public turns out, to however, be more grit and wit than logistics and paperwork.

Leo Holt is the latest and final member of the team.

They hired him after he was arrested for breaking the legs of the governor's son. He was given the choice of the team or supermax. He picked the team.

He doesn't like the colors. He hates his hero name. He hates the word "Synergy" even though the team's leader loves it.

Though what he's hating the most is how much it's working.

Leo's abnormally strong, in a fashion no one's been able to understand. A woman with ten doctorates, the entire budget of the government's judicial branch for superhuman laws, nor Leo himself has been able to figure it out. He gets by well enough, especially since his team's more than well-aware of their own powers.

And they need to be, as the city they live in is under threat from a tree-worshipping ecoterrorist cult, armed with strange magic and firepower. Word has it they're making some kind of throne.

Now, Leo needs to keep his shit together and save the day, or he'll be dealing with worse than a supermax prison.

What to expect:

‣ A wide and unpredictable world that'd fit in any cape comics, with magic, mutants, mad science, and more.

‣ Both tactical match-ups and horribly violent brawls against supervillains

‣ A morally questionable government

Super-strong antihero gets drafted into government superhero work, and is slowly but surely becoming a real deal superhero.
