In 2156, Doctor John Hawking achieves the impossible: practical time travel. With the starship USS Albert Einstein, he and a hand-picked crew can open rips in fluid time and visit any moment in history.

What begins as pure scientific curiosity quickly becomes something far more dangerous. The United States government has other plans. They want Hawking to change the past. Every intervention, however, carries a price.

Rogue time travelers from the future are already working against them. A closed paradox loop centered on the 1947 Roswell Incident threatens to unravel everything. And when the crew finally returns home, they discover an Earth devastated by nuclear war—a timeline that only exists because of the changes they made.
