The Builder Awakens

On a backwater planet, deep in the endless tundra, lives Kpleeb—the slowest and least promising caveman in his village. After a quarrel drives him into the wilds, he is abducted by mysterious entities, imprisoned, and experimented on. Just as hope fades, he meets Thoka, a beautiful and fierce fellow captive. Together they escape, find love, and begin a new life in a strange land. But peace is short-lived. Deadly warriors ravage the land, an ancient prophecy awakens, and far above, the cold machinery of a galactic empire stirs.
