Ladies and Gentlequills, I am pleased to say that I FINALLY completed and released The Tales of Halziyon: Reforged.
Now, if you're not aware, I wrote this mess of a fantasy epic trilogy waaaaaaaaaay back in the beginning of my writing career with NO HELP, and while I fully admit that it was quite a fun story, it was a very sloppy one. Such is the life of an indie writer, and as such, I never advertised it. In truth, the only reason I had put it up for sale was to publish a large print version my grandmother could read. And read it, she did, thoroughly enjoying the story (while not understanding some of the elements of it).

After she passed away years back, I began to feel the call of Halziyon again, and given I am a somewhat notable editor and writing coach these days due to everything I learned after Halziyon, I thought I should return to it, apply my current skills, and do something more fun. So I reached out to my favorite artist and commissioned a ton of illustrations (some of which were never used in the final product) and set myself upon the course of... reforging The Tales of Halziyon.

This took years. Apparently, amateur me was incredibly bad at the form and function of writing. Who knew?! Anyway, to make a long story short, I cleaned her up nicely, injected the illustrations, and ran her through MY editor (even an editor needs an editor) and now, this sprawling, 500-page fantasy about a slovenly, fat kid learning to be a man and all the wildly entertaining friends he makes along the way is available to you to try out.
It's raw. It's emotional. It's epic.

And one of the main characters is a faerie dragon. I guarantee, if nothing else, you'll love my Whimsyland Logo even more after reading it.

The book is now added to Spotlight's rolls; links to the $5 ebook on my website are available, as well as standard publishing through Amazon.

Cheers.
