The Land (1591-1960) is a short story collection of horror/historical fiction that is set in an environment where the inhabitants may change over the centuries, but the land is undefeated by the hands and minds of man and his progress.

The five chapters depicted here are related to one another, and the advancement of time and technology only serves to heighten the terror, as the citizens of the young United States grow up along side the evil seeds of the ground.

Each story elicits the sentiments of the time in which it is set, which allows the author to fully explore horrific themes that are unique and universal across the spectrum of time and space.
