An avid reader from a very young age, Jason went through books as a child and teen like it was going out of style. A fierce competitor in Pizza Huts Book-It program (Even winning a bike one summer), it was a part of him for ever. College and life changed those fiction books out for works on leadership and aircraft tech manuals, but it never went away. He has been inspired by the works of Robert Heinlein, Suzanne Collins, and Drew Karpyshyn. Additionally, he has been a gamer pursuing story heavy narrative games that take you out of your world and into theirs. He has been around and done many things, including a US Military Service Member, a Pilot, a Living Historian, a college instructor, and even a short stint as a prisoner escort. His unique experience and frustration with a lack of decent plot/characters in recent movies and games has driven him to writing. He is based in Oklahoma. “If there's a book that you want to read, but it hasn't been written yet, then you must write it.”
