Dark Neology – Dante’s Gray Pages forges its own genre by embracing the dense, sobering essence of dark neology. It’s not merely a worst-case scenario, but a critical lens through which we see the future and learn from it. Dark Neology draws from classic science fiction, foundational fantasy, and literature in an experimental blend of action, adventure, and inquiry into what it means to be human.

Synopsis: Through the eyes of Dante Meilė, a former economist, the story unfolds in a world reshaped by the geopolitical conflicts and technological upheavals of 2067. Living through the rise of automation and an artificial pandemic comes at a high cost; Dante loses far more than family, love, and employment.

Tormented by a broken spirit and a lack of prospects, he volunteers as a test subject for the genetic engineering project known as Neo-Sapiens, conducted by the mega-corporation SLC. He is sealed in hibernation and awakens centuries later in a brutal, medieval world ruled by superhuman beings, with no memories and a mysterious artifact fused to his body.

What follows is an odyssey worthy of a shonen epic. Guided by the Luminous Legion, keepers of lost knowledge, Dante searches for identity and purpose. In Nethereal, surrounded by Neo Sapiens, he is little more than an insect, forced to train and evolve simply to survive. Alongside Gabrielle, an alchemist and former military captain, and Ack, a warrior-explorer, growth becomes unavoidable.

A continental war erupts, and ready or not, he is forced into it—unaware that the greatest danger lies not ahead, but within the forgotten shadows of his past, as the Dark Neology rises once more. The formula that once brought Armageddon now threatens his present.
