Three days are missing.

But Mara and Eli are a perfectly normal couple. They’re doing just fine.

Apart from the fact the secondhand bookshop, where they work, keeps rearranging reality between myth and memory. There’s also the strange green pill they keep swearing off.

The more they try to remember, the less their world cooperates. The unusual personalities around them keep leaving clues in plain sight; mysterious notes, cryptic messages and puzzling symbols that don’t appear to belong on the surface.

To recover their lives, Mara and Eli will have to choose. They can keep their heads down, do the shift, and pretend the shadows or what’s missing doesn’t matter. Or pry at the seams until the truth arrives with consequences. Unaware that somewhere beneath the everyday, old gods stir.
