Great mix of police/horror/spriritual

Very fast-paced and engaging crime/horror tale with a unique premise: the MC has spiritual gifts usually associated with holy men and ascetics, but he uses them against the demonic forces assailing the city. A highly entertaining intro to what promises to be a solid series.
