Book 5 of The Soulborn Sonata Series is here, and continues the Ocai Voyage Trilogy and sees the Frontier Okami set their sights on Talico Island to finish the hunt against the criminal mercenaries they had begun in the previous book, before they recoup and increase their numbers beyond measure!

The Frontier Okami team of Ryland, Leila, and Kaito found their selves in Canbury, one of the largest trading hubs and countries, and teamed up with a veteran hunter with a dark past, Gotland Siegfeld. After a failed capture on their targets at Lauris High Bluffs and discovering that the kites had taken a child labor force with them, the quartet regrouped and set out to chase down the Teroskin Kites at their new home base to finish the fight for good. In the process, the IHB arranged to assist in the hunt as intercepted intel from Gotland now has them ready to take on the other members of the mercenaries. With a former kite-turned ally in tow, the quintet will make their way to Talico Island to rescue the kidnapped children and bring down the Teroskin Kites once and for all!

Talico Island is an enigmatic place where the Teroskin Kites had landed and called in their numbers to consolidate, all the while setting in motion a plan to bring more wealth to their entity, get out of contention with the law, and set their aim to open more chapters of their group than ever before. Not only do the kiteguards and kitemaster lie in wait, but also have the protection of their new location and means to bypass the hostile wildlife both on and around the island. With such an enormous task & situation that catches them all by surprise, the Frontier Okami's team faces staggering odds as apex beasts, dangerous creatures, and the mercenary's top leaders stand against them.

A grueling test of survival.

A silent and invisible apex beast hunting the hunters.

Unfinished business to settle.

A mystical voice on the seas.

Limited time and growing enemies for all parties.

A dastardly shipwreck with no way home.

A separation that tests the mettle of each member.

Talico Island will throw Ryland, Kaito, Leila, Gotland, and Lyra into a worst-imaginable scenario, and it is only by relying on each other, they can hope to survive and overcome. With teamwork, their bonds will strengthen; the group will fight for every minute of existence on the island and push their way to the base with limited equipment, food, drink, rest, and knowledge of the locale. Yet, despite all that threatens to overtake them, each has a desire that pushes them onward; the will to prevail, the concern of a sister, the love of a father, the want to save the children, and the need to overcome a great foe. It is another major hunt that will further put the Frontier Okami in the annals of history, if they can manage to live to tell the tale. Book 5 sets the stage for the great hunt against the Teroskin Kites and for the roughest test of the hunters yet!
