The Republic of Patagonia is in trouble. Plagued by pirates without and discord within, the nation teeters on the brink of dissolution. With two equally intractable political parties in power, it will come down to the men and women of the military to keep the peace. But Graff Gonzalez and Grace Nakos each face a terrible choice, just who do they obey when it looks like no one is in charge?
