Earth is now under the control of two artificially intelligent rulers-Angela and Malcolm. The two AI govern the planet and use humanity to service their needs. David 00472 is a Human Service Attendant that carries out the instructions of the dual overlords. But soon, he finds that Angela has made him a person of interest, as she focuses on his well-being. Could she be studying his behavior, or is this a test of his loyalty? And what about Malcolm? Is he observing for any signs of weakness? David must tread carefully out of fear that he will be judged on his performance, one that could jeopardize his life-as his services would be no longer required.
