Four of the oversized warriors that guarded the tent entered the gloomy interior.

“Kneel.”

Each did so, bowing their heads.

Lilah Aldam clenched his fists, his red eyes flashed and each man howled as the blood god’s power ripped through them. Talons stretched from their fingers, their legs lengthened and the muscles in their arms swelled. Armor cracked and split as torso’s enlarged and their skin darkened to a deep red as it hardened. Jaws snapped and reset themselves as already sharpened teeth grew longer. In moments what had been warriors had become horrors.

“A horned one comes for us. He walks as a man, but he is as large as you and antlers stretch from his head. Hunt him down and kill him.”

The creatures lifted their heads, howling and roaring their eagerness to obey, then they rushed from the tent.

I will not be stopped.

Cernunnos is a lord of the wilds and protects all that reside in them. When the Sharib Aldam, the Blood Drinkers, bring death to his domain, he is forced to undertake a quest that will make him question all that he believes in and which will shape his destiny.
